Sandella Fabrikken AS works with environmental goals in mind and is Eco-Lighthous certicied (sertifikat nr. 373).

Eco-Lighthouse is a norwegian public environmental certicification for small and medium-sized companies. It builds on the same principles as EMAS and ISO 14001 environmental standards. It means that Sandella sorts and recovers all waste from production and operation. An environmental report is prepared for the company annually.

Production of moulded foam creates very little production waste compared to other types of foam production.
